What is TRT?

What is TRT?

Torque Release Technique (TRT) is a specialized chiropractic method that combines principles from various chiropractic techniques, including diversified, Gonstead, and activator methods.

Developed by Dr. Jay Holder in the late 1990s, TRT aims to address spinal subluxations (misalignments) and nerve interference, which are believed to hinder the body's innate ability to heal and function optimally.

It Takes Time

It Takes Time

Last week I was at an after hours networking event and I told someone I was a chiropractor.

They told me that they had tried chiropractic care in the past and it didn’t help them.

I was shocked to learn this because in my experience - chiropractic care provides fantastic results.

I asked if they could walk me through their chiropractic care experience and it went something like this…

Could That Cortisone Injection Make Your Problem Worse?

Could That Cortisone Injection Make Your Problem Worse?

"Dr. Ben doesn't believe in cortisone injections."

One of my practice members said this last week and I had to clarify. Let me state for the record that I believe in cortisone injections as much as I believe in gravity and chiropractic. However, at the end of the day they are still a "treatment" for pain - and that I have issue with.

Band-Aids Don't Heal Cuts

Band-Aids Don't Heal Cuts

What if I told you that no chiropractor ever cured anything in this history of chiropractic?

Would you believe me?

What if I took it a step further and told you that no doctor anywhere ever cured anyone of anything?

Anytime healing takes place it does so through a healthy and optimal functioning body.

When you were a kid and you fell and cut your knee what would your mother or father do?

They would probably clean the cut and place a band-aid on it, right?
